Okay so the last couple of days here in London have been absolute misery, well that's dramatic. The heat and the humidity is killer right now. I cannot do anything without sweating and i just don't understand. The rest has been amazing of course but today especially we just came in mid-day and got stuff done around the house.
Last night we saw "The Importance of Being Ernest" and we saw it at the Vaudeville Theater. It truthfully is the funniest thing... the only problem was that it was squished so much and there was actually zero leg room so other than the fact that you sat there in peer discomfort and heat for a couple of hours everything was just dandy.
This morning we went over to the British Library, its right off the "Kings Cross Station" so the "Harry Potter" lover in me kind of died for a second. We went to the British Library to see the "Magna Carta." It's actually the 800th anniversary of the signing so it is pretty cool to say the least. The document was commissioned by King John and not only did they have the sealed and signed original document they also had King Johns teeth and the bone of his thumb on display which i really hated honestly.
Today in London is the hottest day on record in the last 10 years, I have been dying over the humidity and so its hard to adjust. So since it is so hot here we decided to come back in after the library and do laundry and homework. It isn't even an option for us to stay out and explore the city because that is to painfully hot.
On a side not i would highly recommend to every single person that they go to "Amorino" at least once in their life. They serve the gelato in the shape of a flower and you can get freaking GELATO FILLED MACAROONS.... yeah i know that's amazing.
Xx,
Mackenzie
