St. Paul's Cathedral & Paul

Today was the first day of class.. basically i keep forgetting that i am actually here for school and i am not really jazzed about it but i think it will be good... Later this afternoon we all went to St. Paul's Cathedral. I AM A HUGE DIANA FAN and so this was really fantastic seeing as though this is where she got married.. I cannot even begin to describe how much gold detail and just amazingness there was in that place. You are not supposed to take pictures when you are inside but that didn't really stop me (sorry) i just could not help myself i am a sucker for gold! I also lit a candle.. is that allowed or is that kind of sacrilegious? not sure but it costed me 30 pence and whats done is done. It was all fun and games until we hiked up to the top of the dome. Here's how it breaks down.. the weather here is approximate 80 degrees but then when you add the amount of humidity you feel sticky and gross all. of. the. time. I was wearing a dress and a sweater which i thought would be good for this activity but i was obviously wrong because you should have seen the amount of sweat on my face. Like i just want to come out and publicly apologize to everyone who was with me and had to experience the sweat. I am pretty claustrophobic and ever so slightly afraid of heights mix that all together with the heat and you will understand how this was working out. I am a sweater and so yeah.. it wasn't really a hard thing per say but it was just really hot out. Another "Paul" that i love is the French Patisserie... i know i've talked about this in posts past but of course i got another Gourmandise like who do you think i am?
So for dinner we had like pig shlaaappp... it was so nasty mcnast. All i can say to explain it was that it was like watery pinto beans and beef over white rice with mini corn.. like how weird is that.. but we did go out to Primark which is such a fab store. Everything is super cheap and actually really cute which i can appreciate.

We are planning on going to this little gelato place called "Amarillo" tomorrow where they serve your gelato to you in the shape of a flower.. i mean come on.. Also there is this place called "Sketch" which is an all pink tea room.. how can i just not go there for afternoon tea.

Sincerely,

         Mackenzie

Are you jealous of this food or what?

I know this is nasty but check out the sweat and my nasty face.. You're welcome.
