Longest/Best Day ever..

Want to hear about the best day of our lives? We woke up at the crack of dawn to go buy some tickets in the west end for a Broadway show because apparently they are only 5 pounds on Saturday mornings but we never found the place... Instead we ended up in Convent Gardens near Leicester Square and that was even better in my opinion... They had the most quaint streets filled with realistic shopping.. I feel like London has some fantastic shopping hot spots but I do not have the funds Chanel and Burberry now or ever really. My favorite place is Cath Kidston it has the most adorable prints and patterns and i could buy every single thing. (On a side note there is some type of sale going on throughout Europe right now where everything is over 50% off.. it happens one week every summer and i'm loving being here right now.) So we stayed and shopped around for several hours and i finally found my favorite cafe "Paul" while in Paris last year we went every day for hot chocolate and a gourmadise so i was seriously so happy when i spotted it yesterday!

We never got back on the tube that day we just walked all through London on "the way home" stopping at Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, Trafalgar Square which was a major disaster because it was the Pride Parade yesterday and there were so so many people. We saw so many places yesterday as we casually walked through the streets with no itinerary and nowhere to be. It was such a good day.

BUT IT GETS BETTER... just you wait

T-Swift was playing in Hyde Park as part of her 1989 tour with her openers being Ellie Goulding and Vance Joy... we didn't have tickets but we felt like since it was in the park we would maybe be able to hear it. It started at 3;30 and we were just relaxing sitting in the shade and could hear everything perfectly clear!By the way Ellie Goulding was sensational, i had no clue how much i loved her till now!I think i will always love the song "Love Me Like You Do" By the time Taylor got on the stage we had positioned ourselves in a place where we could see the jumbo-tron amazingly and could hear every word she sang.. MY GOSH SHE IS AMAZING. I have such a gigantic girl crush on her like you have no idea. She is unbelievably talented. As if we weren't freaking out enough that we were essentially in the same block as our girl Tay. Then when we could tell it was starting to wrap up she goes.. "I'd like to welcome to the stage my girls Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid" and we like freeeeaaaakkkkkkeeedddd out. Instantly jumped up and were screaming like a bunch of girls (which is allowed because we are in fact a bunch  of girls) but hello she didn't stop there.. throughout that song all of her friends came out including Martha Hunt, Serena Willaims, Cara freaking Delvigne and Karlie Kloss i was just ready to die. Squad goals right there, am i right or am i right..
All in all it had been such an amazing day and although i was completely exhausting staying out to try and stalk these celebs was amazing!

I have been having such an enjoyable time in London, i'm still not sure that i've come to terms with the fact i am in another country, i think that since they speak English it feels a lot like i'm in NYC.. the people that i am here with are amazing, such sweet girls and i truthfully so blessed to have met them...

We went to church today at the Hyde Park Chapel, it was so beautiful as it doubles as a Visitor Center, i was so glad that we were able to go. Today we took a nap, did some homework (kind of) and are just hanging around the center to get to know each other better. I couldn't be happier!

Xx,

Mackenzie
